The Business Expansion & Retention Program (BEAR)
program was adopted by Millard County Economic Development Association in 2008 as a way to support existing businesses in Millard County, and let them know what resources are available to them such as:

The Enterprise Zone Program is a post-performance tax rebate from the state of Utah for "plant, equipment and other  depreciable costs". You can view 2009 Enterprise Zone Map of Millard County to see if your business is located within an Enterprise  Zone.

The Custom Fit Training Program
helps pay up to 50% of a business's cost for training employees. Millard County is served by Snow College Custom Fit Training at 800 West 200 South Richfield, UT  84701. For more information, call: (435)893-2206


The Six County Revolving Loan & Targeted Business Assistance Loan Program
The Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is a source of gap financing for medium to large business loans.  The Targeted Business Assistance Loan Fund (TBAF) provideds small loans for targeted businesses. These loan programs are administered through the Six County Association of Governments Loan Board with support from county economic development directors.

The Fast Track Program
is a post-performance matching grant (up to $50,000) for expanding non-retail businesses. The Fast Track program is administered by the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED), but applicant must work with county economic development director.
