Millard County has two high schools and one technical center.  The technical center is a part of the Millard County education system which serves both high school students and adults.  The "Tech" offers training in numerous technical fields such as computers, business, welding, machining, automotive, cabinet making, cosmetology and Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA). They also house a satellite education site for Utah State University which offers a variety of bachelors, masters and Phd. degrees.  The technical center is also able to work with local industries to provide training for employees.

While many Millard County employees are local, some commute from neighboring Nephi and Utah Counties.  Commute times from these two counties are reasonable because of low traffic volume along these routes. According to workforce services, another interesting demographic of the Delta area is that the “baby boomers” are retiring, but staying in the area.  This is a stable population that acts as a draw to potential labor, as children of baby boomers start their families and want to return “home”.
